Whites Landing has the longest sandy beach on the island. Kayak, snorkel, hike or relax on the beach. Our cove is a 3 mile coastal tour from Avalon to a private island cove. You’re invited to explore our 25 acre glamping retreat.

Lobster Hooping Excursion
Learn how to hoop net and catch the ‘Big Bugs’ (California Spiny Lobster)!
You keep your catch within California State lobster limits!
While waiting for the hoop nets to soak enjoy coffee, and hot chocolate around the campfire!
$125 per hour.
6 person maximum (2 person minimum).
California Ocean Fishing License and Lobster Report Card Required (available at most tackle shops or sporting good stores).

You must reserve transport to our camp from Avalon at least 72hrs prior to your arrival date (click here). Transportation if you choose our Green & Wild Shuttle the cost is $80 one way for up to 6 people times vary with the seasons so call our office to find out what times are available.

Transportation Options:
Late Morning and Late afternoon departures from Avalon to Whites Landing and morning and afternoon departures from Whites Landing to Avalon. Please message us your arrival and departure times for your Catalina Express reservation and your preference and we will direct message your shuttle time. Cost is $80 each way per trip for up to 6 people (after 6 ppl it will start again at $80). Transportation will be either by boat or car at our discretion. HIKE OR BIKE INTO WHITES LANDING FROM AVALON
The hike from Avalon to Whites Landing is beautiful and scenic. The hike is about 10 miles with different elevations and does require a permit from the Catalina Island Conservancy. The hike usually takes about 4 hours please text us before you leave Avalon and do not hike at dark!
WILDLANDS EXPRESS AIRPORT SHUTTLE
This Shuttle will pick you up at the TrailHead in Avalon and transport you to Black Jack Junction and the Whites Landing Gate and you can hike down to camp. This hike is just 3 miles down and again very scenic. Tickets are $20 each per person and reservations are required through the Catalina Conservancy Trailhead office. Shuttle usually leaves Avalon at 4:00 PM.
CATALINA SHORE BOAT SERVICE
Catalina Shore boat offers transport of $150 per trip.
